
Anthony David Gonzalez was born in Torrance, California on February 27th the year 1976. He was raised in the southern part of California and was a student at Huntington Beach High School, where he was an outstanding player on the basketball and football teams. Gonzalez excelled at these activities at University of California, Berkeley. He played a key role in leading the team's football team to 1996 Aloha Bowl. There, Gonzalez set the record for his school for receiving nine receptions and beat it. Gonzalez was the basketball coach into the Sweet 16 of NCAA basketball tournament only a few months later. After graduating from highschool He was a participant in the 1997 NFL Draft. Gonzalez was chosen as the 13th overall pick by the Kansas City Chiefs. Gonzalez was a member of the Chiefs between 1997 and 2008. Then he was traded to the Atlanta Falcons. He never caught fewer than 59 passes in Gonzalez's second NFL season.
