ItaliaStephanie Italia Ricci, born on the 29th of October 1986, is a American-Canadian actor. She is known for her role as April Carver in the 2014-2015 ABC Family television series Chasing Life, and for acting as White House Chief of Staff and Special Advisor Emily Rhodes in the television drama series Designated Survivor from 2016 to 2019.During 2009, Ricci began appearing in American productions, with small roles in How I Met Your Mother, House, and Greek. The same year, Ricci had a regular role in the show as Sasha in the comedy series Secret Girlfriend on Comedy Central. In 2010, she starred in Unnatural History on Cartoon Network as Maggie Winnock. She also appeared in an Clean & Clear ad. In 2011, Ricci appeared in the short film Valediction. Ricci was a small part in Joseph Gordon Levitt's first film as a director Don Jon in 2013.
